Mother's Day Craft

Mother's Day is coming this Sunday and I couldn't be more excited to give my mom her present :) Here is a short, simple, tutorial on how I made her a candy bouquet!

Materials Needed: Flower Pot
                              Wooden Round Dowels
                               Foam Piece
Small Bottle of Paint/ Small Paint Brush
Candy of your choice (About 4-5)
                               Colorful Paper Tissue
                               Ribbon
                               Gift Card (Optional)

First, I painted my pot. It only took one coat + a few minor touch-ups.

I already had "flower foam" so I just cut a small piece from that.

Then, I put it in my pot.

I got these Round Dowels in the craft section at WALMART for under $3. I snapped some into halves and  thirds so that I could make some longer than others.

I just used regular tape to tape the rods onto the candy, but I had to use a good amount of it.

After that, I added some pretty lace ribbon and made some little signs for décor. I didn't take a picture, but I also added some colorful paper tissue to the bottom to cover up the rods and foam. Then I added a gift card to her favorite store! The only thing I would have done different would have been to get more colorful candy. I have too much red in mine. Hope you all enjoyed my tutorial :)
